The Island of Holbox is ubicated in the north of the peninsula of Yucatan, at 3 hours and 30 minutes (bus + ferry), from Cancun.

There is around 1.200 habitants. Most of them are family of fishermans.

They is a lot of options to visit around the island, like snorkeling with the whales sharks, watch different kind of marine birds, like the flamingos, the pelicans, but also to visit the birds island or the "Ojo de agua" in the middle of the jungle Yalahau.
